| Several volunteers from Harris Bank came to The Beloved Community on June 11th to help plant a "Green" Garden of environmentally-friendly plants along with The Chicago Park District. Though it was an especially rainy day, the volunteers remained energetic and in great spirits. They left with us a lasting garden of native and sustainable plants that will be a valuable resource to the residents of the community throughout the summer and years to come.
